Program Overview

The Junior Junior Welfare League (JJWL) is a charitable organization for girls in grades 6–12 based in Huntington, operating since 1933. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with no national affiliation.

Membership Dues

Annual dues are $40, applied toward the JWL Youth in Philanthropy Award and JJWL Programming. If dues present a financial hardship, please contact the chair to discuss options.

Service Requirements

  • Attend at least 3 service opportunities per year to maintain active membership
  • Complete a minimum of 6 community service hours annually to receive an end-of-year certificate
  • Activities are held at least once per month
  • Members must be physically present for the full duration of each project

Code of Conduct

By joining JJWL, members agree to:

  • Treat peers, leaders, and facilities with respect
  • Refrain from foul language, violence, and dishonest, offensive, or illegal behavior
  • Limit cell phone use during projects (except for transportation coordination)
  • Represent the league responsibly on social media
